Spare Parts

One of the best things to come from Mike's new job has been a passion for rolling. He works for the United States Bowling Congress. Mike is talented and has become interested in all things bowling. I have descent form but sometimes my results aren't that great. People often think I am much better than I am by looking at my swing. Pam, Ron, Mike and I are on a team at Cityview Lanes. Our name is Spare Parts. We finished 14Th place in the beginner "Get your Gear" league. Tonight was the last night of this session. Mike ended this season with an average of 183. My average(high game 190) was 137 to finish this season. Most of the people in this league are not beginners at all. But there isn't really anything at stake so it really doesn't matter. At the USBC we have been involved in some great sport leagues that involve money and difficult conditions. We have also been bowling against professional bowlers which is always fun to watch. It has been quite an experience. I would have never dreamt that we would become fascinated by bowling. The old saying, don't knock it until you've tried it" comes to mind.
