San Diego

It seems like I was just here. That is because I was just here the night before last. I picked up a turn worth 10 hours because it overnights in San. We stay at the Sheraton on the Harbor. It is a beautiful place with a great view. I just love it here. The weather is so fantastic and the palm trees are huge. This trip is my scheduled trip and it is a three day. I will be in Mexico City tomorrow night. I haven't been there in a while. I spent the night last night watching Mike bowl in the USBC league and then we went home to watch UK beat Miss State. It was a good game except the Miss State fans were out of control. I landed in San tonight and it was a nice smooth one. Everyone gave compliments and told me how normally people just prang it on since it is a short runway. Well, it isn't that short but you don't want to float. We had it slowed down by 1,500 feet and it was very safe and a smooth touchdown to boot. Most of the time I get to land in DFW since we usually do every other landing. I love the challenging stuff. I guess we all do and that is why we fly jets. We had a deadhead crew member who showed us how to walk to the Sheraton Hotel. It is kind of a hike but the weather was perfect. It is fun to learn new tricks especially ones like that where you don't have to wait on a van.
