Salt Lake City

I had a 7:30 AM departure this morning. I didn't really feel like getting up after our late night of bowling. I bowled my high score of this league of 166. Mike was over 200. It was a fun night of bowling for our spare parts beginner league. I did a Kansas City turn and then to Salt Lake City. I flew the approach into MCI and it was down to minimums. It was windy too. Fun approach and a good landing. The flight took forever to get to Salt Lake. We had a 140 knot headwind at times. The weather was cloudy and some icing in the clouds. The pressure was 30.24 which is about as low as I have seen. I am in the Radisson and it is downtown. When we arrived at the hotel I dressed to go to the Family History Library. It is just a few blocks from the hotel. I watched a short film and then they showed me into a room with quite a few people. A nice older lady name Goldia came to help me. She showed me how to look for my relatives. It was extremely cool to look up Forest and Grandma's backgroud. After a few hours of researching my family tree. I decided to get some food. The Hotel has a nice place to eat and the food was awesome. I tried the lamb shank and talked to my server (Marla) for quite a while. She was a neat lady. She likes to dance and she has a friend who is one of the first lady pilots from Delta. Now I am tired and I have to get up early tomorrow morning. I must say Goodnight.
