Pecan Plantation
Yesterday, I flew to Pecan Plantation to play tennis. My friend Shirley lives on the airpark. I fly in and park at her home. She drives us to the clubhouse to play with the group. After three long sets with Debbie, Kelly and Shirley. We flew to Hard Eight BBQ for some lunch. After lunch I dropped them off and flew to Bourland. Pam wanted to fly and I did a instrument flight lesson with her. Mike and I watched the movie Angels and Demons before bed. It was pretty good. Nothing to write home about.
This morning I was planning to get some things done around the house. Pam called to see if I wanted to go bowling with her and Ron. I did go bowling. Pam and Ron needed to post and pre bowl. So that means 6 games. I had a really good day except for one game (114). My best game was 171. It was fun but I was totally worn out by the end. Pam and I flew to Granbury to get fuel for N733DG. And I worked with her on her instrument scan. I roasted a chicken for Mike and he made a tasty veggie noodle dish to go with it. Then we watched University of Kentucky lose to South Carolina. It was kind of sad since they should not have lost and they were #1 with a record of 19-0. I also spend some time watching the Austrailian Open and Serena pulled out another awesome win. She was down 1 set and 4-0 before kicking it up a notch and taking out some cute blonde to move into the quarterfinals.
