Snow Day
This has been a beautiful winter day for us here in Texas. We usually have ice instead of snow. We have had extremely cold weather for 4 days. Fortunately, I did not have to work today. I have spent the day at home just trying to keep myself occupied. It can be difficult because I have plenty that I need to do. But chores probably will not get done. This morning I went for a walk with my new SLR camera and get some pictures of the neighborhood. I made multi-layered jello desert that I found in a magazine. I am starting to feel like Martha Stewart. I get online and play with facebook and write about my day.
Today, my first Bible study blog was published on our Church website. We are reading the Bible in two years. My Chapter was Matthew 4 and you can go there and read the blog if you wish. It was fun to really concentrate on one Chapter enough to write intelligently about it. http://www.bearcreek.cc/gods-word-blog
The sun has come out and things are melting pretty fast. I am kind of glad because the SuperBowl is here in Texas this weekend and I want them to be able to play the game and make it special. I am not a football fan but I understand a lot of money and preparation has gone into it.
Now I think it is time to see if my multi colored jello has set. I am looking forward to tasting it.
