Sisters

She is beautiful, intelligent, successful and she is my best friend. It is not hard to love her. There have been times that we didn't get along. We look similar and have a similar accent. But in so many ways we are very different personalities. She is able to concentrate on something and stick with it for hours. I must move on to the next thing because I get bored. She enjoys a routine. I in fact, can't phathom routine. She gets up early and runs to stay in shape. I rather be out of shape and struggle through a tennis match than get up early and sacrifice my beauty sleep. She is around blood everyday, and I pass out when I see even a drop.

She has sacrificed it all to have children. And she is a wonderful Mother to Lillian and Caroline. It is difficult to explain how much she means to me. I am proud of her and her accomplishments. She is a Gyn doctor who does robotic surgery. She also plays tennis and flies small airplanes when she can get the time. I miss living close to her and seeing her often. Especially, now that she has two young girls that I would love to be more a part of their lives. I wish I was able to celebrate with her tonight on her birthday. She is probably giving some baths and checking her facebook for birthday wishes. I wrote a nice comment to her earlier today. I hope that she knows that I can't really tell her how much she means to me. She is a friend, companion, tennis partner, co-pilot, child of God, Mother, Sunday school teacher, daughter, and most important to me. She is the best sister anyone could ever have.
