Angels with Fur

Our sweet furry friends are sent from above

Without trying, they teach us about perfect love.

From early in the morning to deep into the night

Their love is unconditional; they don’t care if you are right.

They walk beside us each and every day

They speak with their eyes; and are always ready to play.

I cannot find the words for the relationship we share

Everyday is a blessing; to be able to care.

When it is time to say goodbye, oh, how our tender heart hurts!

I know that they are a gift from God; they are angels with fur.
